Hey, I am Pablo Vissers, I am 18 years old and am a triathlete currently doing a lot of base training for in the future when the race season starts. I love all good information I can find online! (Especially as I am self-coaching for now.) I can’t wait for this community to grow and learn tons of new stuff!
hello everyone, my name is Kyle and I am also a triathlete, let’s go boys! love racing even thought it’s quite expensive, but mainly love to suffer and look back on my race and make sure I gave it my all. Pretty happy I found this forum! Really nice people so far
whatsup guys, I’m Sam and been a runner for quite some time now (2+ years), basically started out getting injured almost every month but after some research I realised I was running too fast, I’ve been doing the 80/20 plan for some time now and have not been injured for a looooong time, recommend it to everyone!
Hi, I’m Mary and I’ve been running recreationally for about 4 years. Currently I am 47 years old and my biggest achievement is this year’s turkey trot where I ran a time of 26:07. Compared to others it might not be the best time, but for me this was a big achievement, almost under 26 minutes! Also, I love pizza
Hey, my name is Timothy and I’ve been running sometimes now, the only thing that annoys me is that I always get pain after and during running, but other than that I love it. Hope that the answer from that pt helps me. This really seems like a fun and kind place to learn new running things, happy I found it!
Hi everyone! My name is Colleen - as you can probably already see - and I run about 5x each week! Running feels me feel so much more alive and it started as a therapy and now it is a lifestyle! I do the occasional 10k runs and half marathons & I look forward to talking to more people on this forum
Hi, I’m relatively new here and still trying to learn the ropes. I’ve been running for nearly 25 years recreationally. I have done everything from 5ks to half marathons. Mainly I run for my mental health! And I love pizza, too!
Quickly on myself, I’m an entrepreneur and athlete! I love both endurance (running, cycling, mountain biking) and extreme sports (downhill MTB, electric skateboarding, snowboarding, parkour and gymnastics). Which one depends on my mood
Lot’s of personal experience with injury as well, sadly
Hello everyone, I’m Tara and I’m 35. I have been running since I was a kid but had to stop for a while due to a knee injury. I am back to running relatively regularly again although I run really slow. I also like to lift weights. My five-year-old likes to run and try to lift weights, too so I guess it runs in the family.
Hi, I’m Thomas, a father of 2 beautiful daughters and like running as a way to take my mind off of everything, I started running about 10 years ago and am doing the occasional half marathon just for fun. I’m still thinking about doing a marathon but I think it is too much for now.
Thank you Mathias! I might do the same, I really think the NYC marathon is an experience to never forget. And for that, I am willing to suffer a little more.
